Intiaz is currently employed as HFO, Turbines and Vehicles Superintendent.

Intiaz completed his secondary education at Skeldon Line Path Secondary school in 1999 and his tertiary Education at New Amsterdam Technical Institute in 2005. He graduated with a Board of Industrial Training Certificate and the New Amsterdam Technical Institute’s Certificate in the field of metal fitting and metal machining.

From 2005 to 2008, Intiaz was employed with Guysuco Skeldon Estate Factory at the Mechanical Workshop as a fitter Machinist. In 2009, he was transferred to the Skeldon Sugar Modernization Project (SSMP) as Boiler/Turbine Operator (DCS Operator) and in 2017, he was promoted as a Boiler/ Turbine Charge Hand. In 2018, he gained employment at Skeldon Energy Inc. as a Trainee Superintendent working on SEI’s steam turbines). In 2021, he completed studies in Electrical Installation and was awarded a TVET Certificate.

Intiaz is married and the proud father of two sons. His hobby is weightlifting and in 2019, he successfully participated in the Guyana Amateur Power Lifting Federation Championships.
