SEI Conducts Safety Refresher for All Staff

On 25 June 2026, SEI hosted a comprehensive safety training refresher at the Skeldon Plant, with employees attending in person and members of the Head Office team joining virtually. This initiative formed part of SEI’s annual training program and was designed to strengthen workplace safety awareness while promoting safe work practices across the organization. The session was facilitated by Human Resources and Administration Manager Mr. Troy Pearson and Health and Safety Officer Mr. Videsh Satnarine, who guided staff through critical topics including head and face protection and oil spill contamination awareness, equipping participants with practical knowledge to prevent accidents and respond effectively to hazards.

Staff engagement was strong, with employees actively participating and demonstrating receptiveness to the guidance provided. Importantly, this refresher complemented earlier safety initiatives conducted with staff, reinforcing SEI’s ongoing commitment to continuous improvement in workplace safety. General Manager Dr. Brian Sukhai also addressed the gathering, underscoring the company’s dedication to meaningful training that enhances employee knowledge, builds skills, and fosters a culture of safety and responsibility.

This event reflects SEI’s sustained effort to create a safe, productive, and supportive work environment for all employees, ensuring that safety remains a shared priority across every level of the organization.
